A few simple checks can often fix a problem in minutes — no tools or technical know-how needed. Start here before calling.
Common issues¶
- What the status lights mean — read the lights on the recorder and router.
- Camera problems — a camera is black, blurry, or missing.
- Can't see a vehicle or video — a bus isn't showing up, or live video won't load.
- Before you call us — a quick checklist and what to have ready.
Please don't open or rewire equipment yourself. The recorder is usually locked, and opening it can affect your video coverage. The checks in this section are all things anyone can safely do.
