What the Status Lights Mean

The little lights on your system tell you a lot. Here's how to read them.

The recorder's status light (LED panel)

This is the small light panel mounted where the driver can see it.

What you see What it means
Record light on The system is recording. This is normal and good.
Hard-drive light on, but no record light The recorder sees the hard drive but isn't recording — the drive may be full, unformatted, or failing. Report it.
No lights at all The recorder isn't getting power. Make sure the vehicle is on; if it stays dark, report it.

The router's lights (internet/tracking)

The router is what lets you watch live and track the vehicle.

What you see What it means
Normal/solid lights Connected. If a vehicle still isn't showing online, give it a few minutes after startup.
Blinking red Powered on, but can't reach the cell network — often a SIM or signal issue. Report it.
No lights No power to the router. Make sure the vehicle is running; if it stays dark, report it.

When you report a problem, a photo of the lights helps us diagnose it fast. See Before you call us.
